Nadya Permadi menjadi perempuan yang beruntung setelah berhasil diajak sepanggung dengan Coldplay di konser yang digelar di Copenhagen, Denmark.
INFOSEMARANG.COM - Nadya Permadi berhasil membuat iri fans Coldplay tak hanya di Indonesia, tetapi di seluruh dunia. Karena ia bisa sepanggung dengan Coldplay.
Nadya bahkan bisa duduk berdampingan dengan vokalis Coldplay, Chris Martin, untuk menyanyikan lagu bersama. Nadya meminta lagu khusus kepada Chris, yakni Daddy.
Permintaan lagu tersebut bukan karena alasan. Nadya ingin lagu Daddy dinyanyikan secara langsung bertepatan dengan hari ulang tahun ayahnya.

Kesempatan bisa sepanggung dengan Coldplay ini ia bagikan melalui laman media sosialnya, Jumat 7 Juli 2023. Nadya menuliskan betapa ia merasa beruntung karena bisa mendapat momen langka ini.
Ia mengaku jika Daddy merupakan lagu favoritnya dari Coldplay. Tak disangka, lagu pilihannya ternyata dipilih oleh Chris Martin yang membuatnya ikut naik ke atas panggung.
Nadya menjelaskan jika di konser Coldplay di Copenhagen, ada sesi khusus penonton untuk membuat request lagu yang paling diinginkan agar dibawakan Coldplay.
Chris Martin disebut akan memilih lagu yang paling jarang dinyanyikan beserta alasan di balik permintaan lagu tersebut. Jika alasan itu menyentuh hati Chris, maka akan dipilih olehnya.

A simple gratitude would be an understatement for the kind of scale this thing that happened to me.
Coming to Copenhagen for this Coldplay tour was one of my greatest decision I believe. Never thought in my life that I’d come that far for a concert. Well, other than Denmark has been on top of my bucketlist to visit, but seeing Coldplay in a whole new country is truly having its kind of magic nothing else could ever replace.
Now being chosen by Chris Martin to come up on stage is also something beyond my imagination. Truth be told, Daddy has become my number 1 favourite song from Everyday Life album and I made a vow back then to come to the tour and see it performed live. But then the pandemic hit, no tour no concert and nothing happened until last year. And I keep secretly hoping this song would make it into the setlist, but sadly it didnt. The big surprise is, in 2023 Coldplay suddenly made their concert more interesting with a songbook section, where Chris can basically sing anything he wants outside the setlist range. So, everyone made it into some kind of song request moment with banner and sign and whatnot. And apparently Chris is enjoying it himself because he would really read everyone’s banner on B Stage, then he would somehow make a decision of which song he’d like to perform. AND he takes that person on stage as well. That is truly one of the greatest moment any fans would die to have.
So, it’s actually happening to me. But I still can’t grip the reality of it. I believe I won’t until couple weeks or months ahead. It was just too unreal, and too special, something I’d never thought would happen to me.
To cut it short (no, it’s long already), thank you Chris for performing Daddy live, it’s been a dream of mine since the first time I heard it on release day. Also, to have it on the special day as my Dad’s birthday is truly exceptional, it’s just so out of this world. My heart is just bursting with gratitude for all this amazing experience I have. This will forever stay in my head, intensely reminisced in my heart, and would be officially placed as number 1 greatest day in my life.
